Soooo. I got a jumpstart celebrating this wonderful day by baking THIS.
I also added some alcohol to the whipped cream for extra fun.
How I would improve this recipe… do NOT put 4 limes in this. 3 is more than enough. The resulting taste of 4 limes was rather pointy.
Use the zest as more of a garnish/only zest one of them.
It could probably benefit from some sugar, but that may have been the acidity of the 4 limes making me think that.
The crust was excellent and really easy to make. I definitely want to try this one again.
